- 4 chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper as desired
- 3 garlic cloves
- Bechamel sauce
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil
How to Prepare
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, add the well-chopped garlic cloves and a bit of olive oil. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
Later, in a frying pan with hot oil, sear the chicken breasts on both sides. Take them off of the fire and drain the extra oil using absorbent paper or cooking paper.
Next, put the chicken breasts on a tray, pour the bechamel sauce covering the chicken breasts completely, and lastly spread grated Parmesan cheese.
Put them into the preheated oven and bake at 375º F, with heat on the top and on the bottom, for 20 to 30 minutes, until the cheese melts and gets brown on the top.
As with every recipe, this one has variations which do not change the final result at all; for example you can use rapeseed oil or any other vegetable oil instead of the olive oil to sear the chicken breasts.
In the same way, you can use another kind of cheese if you do not have Parmesan.
